Touch Pan/Zoom Not Working Samsung Galaxy Phones
Hi,
I have had a few people test both the map leaflet and also simply test MapQuest.com using Galaxy5s and 6s. All have reported to me that the pan/ zoom using the phone touch screen does not work. Not sure if this problem exists on other devices. I have seen it in the past when leaflet was embedded inside an app. But I think that problem was resolved a while back. However several people are specifically asking about Galaxy now (using Chrome). Is this a known issue and is there anything that can be done? I seems to me that Samsung Galaxy is becoming a very big player.
Thank you,
Jeff
Hi Dennis... thanks for the quick reply! I was incorrect, it is the "Free and Open" maps which do not pan/ zoom on Galaxy mobile phones. Sorry about that. I'm not a developer so I got a little confused as to which I was looking at. I tested the leaflet map on Galaxy and it is fine. But the Free and Open map is the one not working with finger pan/zoom on Galaxy phones (chrome). I wonder if the enterprise version has the same issue.

Magnification gestures allows visually impaired users to zoom in and pan the whole screen. Window zoom allows users to zoom in or out within a window and invert the color. Available options may vary depending upon device.
