Invalid JSON on GET elevation profile

Using the example from the website

http://open.mapquestapi.com/elevation/v1/profile?key=KEY&shapeFormat=jso...

response reason is showing: reason: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

anything i'm missing? Thank you

closing this. hitting the api directly, there are no issues, the issue is some encoding problem on my end, cheers!
