Hello,
The company for which I work has recently made a decision to base our map making needs on MapQuest. I have been tasked with developing static maps represented one of our clients marketing area. The marketing area is based on census tract geography. We are a paying MapQuest customer but not at the enterprise level. Is there a way that we can add customer layers to a static map. I know that in the past (many years ago) I have used MapQuest static map to map zip codes, but I do not see a way to do this now. Is it possible to do what is wanted using static maps? Obviously, using leaflet interactive maps can be created with custom layers using GeoJson or KML among other shape formats. The issue would there become how can I output an image format programatically. Is there a way to gain access to the bitmap? One other question I have is, do you support using a programming language such as C# in addition to javascript? I have seen an old announcement (2008) that says that you do but I can find no reference to C# at all in the documentation.
Thanks,
-Tom
Thanks for the quick response, Brian. Do you know of any way to output a MapQuest interactive map to an image output format?
