MapQuest Search API: Place Search

Hi,

So I am trying to find the nearest gas stations near location 4143 Campus Dr, Irvine, CA 92612 ([-117.839971, 33.649419]) and sorting it by distance, but all I keep getting is an empty results list and the response code 200. I have tried inputting "gas stations" into parameter q and tried inputting the sic code values with no luck.
